Hi, my name is Nicolle Backes, CPPB, and as your 2025 MAPP President, I want to welcome you to MAPP 2025. First, let me share a little about myself. I randomly found myself in procurement when I began as a Buyer I for the State of Missouri, Division of Purchasing in 2013 after graduating college. Over the last 11.5 years, I have worked my way up to Procurement Supervisor in the Division and have served on the MAPP board since 2018 in multiple capacities.
My little “NB5” family consists of my husband Nick, my daughter Natalie and two sons, Nolan and Nash. Oh, and my mini golden-doodle, Peaches.
This year, MAPP has an outstanding Board of Directors. Their excitement and willingness to give their all makes it even easier for our members to find assistance, reassurance and ultimately success in your procurement profession. Here is what MAPP has in store for you.

EDUCATION

CERTIFICATION
Every time you attend a live webinar or class, you can earn CEU points. These points will help you maintain and achieve the NIGP-CPP, CPPO, and CPPB certifications. Professional certifications verify someone’s knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform their job at high levels.
